TRIO Offers Free Marketing Services to Lowcountry Nonprofits
We’re excited to share that TRIO will be participating in CreateAthon for the 12th year in a row! Our team is excited to work for 24-hours to provide free advertising and marketing services to nonprofits in the Lowcountry for CreateAthon on Thursday, October 25.
CreateAthon is a 24-hour creative marathon where we provide pro-bono marketing services to organizations in need from 8 a.m. Thursday to 8 a.m. Friday. CreateAthon was started by Riggs Partners in Columbia and has since delivered more than $24 million worth of services to nonprofits. This year, CreateAthon is on a mission to deliver $100 million in pro-bono marketing services.
As the official CreateAthon agency for the Lowcountry, TRIO will be accepting applications from Monday, June 18 until Friday, August 17. Applicants are required to fill out a form and submit a 60-second video on why their organization should be selected. Applications can be found at trio-solutions.com/createathon.
“There are so many wonderful nonprofits in our area who need marketing help,” says Jenny Dennis, TRIO’s chief operating officer. “Unfortunately, a lot of these organizations struggle with having enough funding to invest in their marketing support. That’s where CreateAthon can help.”
“CreateAthon gives us the opportunity to give some much-needed marketing love to these organizations in the best way we know how. It’s our way of lending a helping hand to those who give so much to our community.”
We will select up to four organizations to take part in CreateAthon 2018. An additional “People’s Choice” organization will also be chosen through our social media, beginning September 9. The final “People’s Choice” winner, along with the four other selected organizations, will be announced on September 15.
Selected organizations may receive services that include marketing and fundraising plans, logos, websites, postcards, banners, brand identity packages, website assessments and social media plans. Project scopes will vary based on the capacity of the TRIO team as well as the specific needs of the organizations.
