Keep Calm and CreateAthon

Today is unlike any other day in TRIO’s office. Daisy decorations, tie-dyed balloons and the tunes of Earth, Wind and Fire are blaring throughout the office. Our outfits are throwbacks to the 70’s with everything from afros to patterned flared pants to flower headbands. What’s the occasion? Our 7th annual CreateAthon of course! This means that for 24-hours, we will be working on marketing and creative projects for five local nonprofit organizations on a pro-bono basis. The nonprofits we selected this year were Be A Mentor, MAIA Moms, Park Circle Film Society, Tricounty Family Ministries and YEScarolina.

We started off the morning with bagels, fruit and coffee to get our creative juices flowing. After a few pictures and some laughs together, we reviewed our tasks for each client and immediately got to work. We are over two hours in and things are looking pretty groovy.
