TRIO SOLUTIONS INC. SELECTS ORGANIZATIONS TO RECEIVE PRO-BONO CREATEATHON® SERVICES

CHARLESTON, SC - Five Lowcountry nonprofit organizations will be the beneficiaries of free marketing services provided by Trio Solutions Inc. in its second annual CreateAthon event. CreateAthon is a 24-hour, workaround-the-clock effort designed to help local nonprofits with little or no marketing budget and will begin Thursday, September 18.

Organizations selected as CreateAthon recipients this year include: Camp Good Times, Fields to Families, Coastal Crisis Chaplaincy, Lowcountry Environmental Education Programs (LEEP) and Family Resource Center for Disabilities and Special Needs.

Trio Solutions Inc. received an overwhelming number of applications from nonprofit agencies across the region and expects to produce individual projects ranging from logos to Web sites for the organizations selected with an estimated market value of more than $25,000.

"It is always a difficult task to select only a few nonprofits to work with," said Jessica Munday, president and founder of Trio Solutions Inc. "All the groups who applied do amazing for our community and our team would love to be able to help them all."

CreateAthon was created by RIGGS advertising agency out of Columbia, South Carolina in 1998. Since the program's expansion from a single market to an international effort in 2001, 42 agencies have joined the CreateAthon network, holding CreateAthon events in their cities. This effort has benefited more than 1,000 nonprofit organizations with more than 2,100 projects valued at $8.4 million. Based in Mount Pleasant, Trio Solutions Inc. is the official CreateAthon agency for the Lowcountry.
